The following items are in Windows movie format (.wmv) and you'll need a viewer application installed on your PC to play them. Watch the size if you have download limits. Windows Media Player and RealPlayer will handle them. Another good multimedia player seems to be VLC media player - freeware available here .

Don't forget to turn your sound on.

Birthday champagne luncheon on Mt Namadgi 10 Nov 07 (1.7MB, 1min37sec)

This is a bit of a swizz - just some pictures strung together with a voice-over. But interesting to see what can be done with Windows Movie Maker, a no-cost tool. I'll try to go back to Mt Namadgi on a day walk each birthday.

ABC Stateline segment on Bushwalking 8 Feb 08 (16.3MB, 5min19sec) - download from box.net

Late in 2007 Craig A, an ABC journalist and great bushwalker and photographer himself, approached me to see if we could do a segment for Stateline based around my blog. With assistance from Max and Jenny, we trundled out to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and wandered around towards Gibraltar Peak. Craig had stitched it up with the Rangers for a vehicle to take the camera and sound crew and gear up the fire trail. Bumped a couple of times, it went to air on 8 Feb 08.
