Stan L organised this family walk for 22 of us from church.  Walkers were aged from 6 to 70.  After church, we drove out to Cotter, then along the Brindabella Road towards Piccadilly Circus.  Turn right onto the Blue Range Road and drive to the parking area by Blue Range Hut.

This walk is number 4 in Graeme Barrow's 30 Family Bushwalks in and around Canberra. We sat on the grass and enjoyed a picnic lunch, then set off through the eucalypt forest along a track.  Then into the still and quiet Uriarra pine forest.

We soon arrived at the grave site under a huge oak tree, then on to the homestead site.  Exotic trees and thousands of daffodils.

After a good scout around, we retraced our steps and drove back to Canberra.
