Getting There
I had a spare hour and was down that way.  I've often driven past the stile over the fence on the side of the Point Hut Crossing Road, but either early in the morning and eager to get to somewhere, or late in the afternoon and exhausted from a walk.  Last Sunday Rob H pointed out the pine trees at the objective so, carpe diem.
Walk

Curiosity satisfied.  Cross the fence, wander up the hill and along the ridge amongst the sheep and cows and kangaroos for about 500m to the enclosed area under the pines.  A peaceful area with a view down the hill to the Murrumbidgee River and up behind to Castle Hill.

See http://www.act.nationaltrust.org.au/places/lambrigg.html# for the history and significance of the area.

Distance: 1.5km  Climb: 50m.  Time: 30mins.
