Getting There

This walk was organised and led by Lorraine T as a CBC walk:

Thursday 27 October - Mt Majura - S/E. I will meet you in Hackett on Antill St near the entrance to the nature park. (UBD 40 E16). This walk will be 1 ½ to 2 hours and will take in some of the tracks as well as the Mt Majura peak. I will go on some different tracks and we can see some of the good work done by the local park care group. See you at 4.30 pm and there is no need to book. Map: Sketch map available on the ACT TAMS website. Leader: Lorraine T. Transport: drive yourself or cycle.

Track

A nice little wander E from Antill St Hackett, starting from the car park near the power lines. The track takes many different forms as it wends W then N up to the top of Mt Majura.

Coming down, at the saddle, we went further S, picked up a footpad through the open bush, then down the drainage line via the 2 dams. N to the cars via the power lines.
