Track Notes

I arrived a little early and wandered up the track towards Mt Ainslie to find and log geocache GCHMNE Forgotten heroes. Returned to the bottom to join the crowd milling in the car park. A popular leader and walk.

There was half of Canberra on the hill and Nathan wisely chose that we’d skirt along the flanks via the North around to the East side before following the Canberra Centenary Trail up to the top. Great conversation with old and new friends.

I was just about to photograph the sunset from the top when my phone went blank. No power.

But I had some caches in my GPSr and on the way down Nathan allowed Mark and me to skip on ahead and off-track to find and log GC1X93T Just for the Views #4 and GCZ77M Fallen.

A pleasant stroll. Thanks Nathan and all.
