Roos at Tongs sheepyard site | Not much of a view at the top

Monday 26 January: Mt Tennent – L/E. Depending on how I pull up after Saturday and a party on Sunday evening, I might do a quick up and back, maybe starting at 7am. I won’t join you Nathan, to give me maximum flexibility (ie. stay in bed if I feel like it)

I drove to the Namadgi Visitors Centre outer car park.

Summary

Distance: 13.9km | Climb: 820m | Time: 7.00am-9.47pm (2hrs 47mins) | Grading: L/E; M(9)

Track Notes

You know you’re old when your new mates have to drag you around the Orroral Valley. But you really know you’re old when Anita (met her running up Mt Tennent on legs of steel, training for  a run on the Six Foot Track) announces to the other runners at the Mt Tennent Fire Tower that “this young man is training for the Cbr100Challenge“!

24 other runners and walkers on the hill this morning, including Nathan leading 8 on a CBC walk. Also ran into (no, that’s walked into) Llewellyn at one stage out for a wander and Therese a bit later.

Away at 7 and back before 10am. Maybe next time it will have to be done twice.

Party

1 walker – me.
