Sunday 31 January: Presentation to Artists Society of Canberra – A brush with the border.

Photographs

Photographs are available, where you can start a large sized slideshow or view the photo in higher resolution. If you would  like a copy of any photo at original size, please email me and I’ll send you a copy.

Presentation Notes

A delightful group of 30-40 people from the Artists Society of Canberra showed genuine interest in the feats of Sheaffe, Mouat and Johnston in surveying the ACT border.

I have posted the photos I used, but won’t bore you with the presentation.

As I said, please use any of these photos and, indeed, any photo on this blog, to inspire your art work. Hopefully they will encourage you to get out in the bush too.

Thank you so much for your welcome and interest.

Further information on the ACT border is available.

PS. I mentioned not only Matthew Higgins and Karen Cody who have walked the ACT border, but the State Emergency Services team. One of its members, Stephen Goggs, has lodged his photographs with the ACT Heritage Library at Woden. They provide a wonderful resource.
