Track Notes

A very pleasant walk in yet another new area, part of The Crookwell Reserves.

North, west, then north through the small NR, generally following the spurs and ridges and crossing a few drainage lines. Dry schllerophyl woodland and forest. A fraction more soil quality allowed for grasses underfoot, rather than bare shale. A couple of nice open creek lines. Some stands of tall timber.

The return was south, east, south again. We passed by some diggings on the crest of one ridge.

Party

4 walkers – Peter C, Linda G, Ian W (leader), me.
