Track Notes

Lovely to meet and walk with 13 other interstate and local folk who enjoy getting out amongst the blooms of Floriade at 8am.

This walk is sponsored by the Heart Foundation and led this year by Diane P. She’s a real goer – had us walking at a brisk pace in the lovely morning sun and led us in some gentle stretches at the end.

Many participants left Floriade by the service gate at 9am (as is required by the walk), but immediately returned to enjoy more.

An opportunity to promote CBC and this blog as well as, of course, the Heart Foundation and many of the other walking groups in Canberra.

There is an 8am walk through Floriade, run by volunteers and sponsored by the Heart Foundation, EVERY DAY of Floriade. Just turn up by 8am at the corner of the path that crosses Commonwealth Avenue at the Floriade traffic lights. A wonderful opportunity to see the displays crowd-free, as Floriade does not open to the general public until 9am.

Party

14 keen walkers.
