Documentation:

• KHA Namadgi database (private source). Site 884. Nothing is yet known of the background of this hut, the hut having now disappeared.

• Gudgenby: A register of archaeological sites in the proposed Gudgenby National Park, J H Winston-Gregson MA thesis, ANU, 1978. Site OR17. Hut foundation. Six postholes, callapsed granodiorite chimney. Site is on NNE slope with Sawpit Creek gap to the south [west?]. Condition is vestigial. Survey of 1891 covered portions 12 to 27 in a batch and valued a hut on portion 22 at £15. There is no trace of that hut. Surveyor’s notes may have misread 22 for 12, where no hut is recorded. See extracts of the relevant pages in the photos above.
