Patrick McLaughlins Hut (mid Orroral valley) site is located 200m NW of the Rowleys Orroral Hut site in the mid Orroral Valley in the Namadgi National Park.

• KHA Namadgi database (private source). Site 875. This hut, on a block surveyed for Patrick McLaughlin and valued at 15 pounds, has disappeared. The site’s chimney stones were identified during a 1978 archaeological survey although repeated site visits since have failed to again locate the site.
• Gudgenby: A register of archaeological sites in the proposed Gudgenby National Park, J H Winston-Gregson MA thesis, ANU, 1978. Site OR14. Hut foundation. 10m south of track, 120m west [more NNW] of site OR11 (Rowleys Orroral Hut). Entrenched outline, raised floor space, collapsed granodiorite chimney. Valued at £15 in original 1884 survey and attributed to Patrick McLaughlin. Hut is on a low flat area threatened by run-off from high ground to the south, soil is piled on the south-west and north-west sides. Chimney is very small, occupying only one third of end wall.
